Otto Rehak

I was born in Hungary and arrived in Australia as a refugee in 1957. I started at Balwyn High in 1961 with fairly limited English. I was lucky to have a couple of teachers who took me under their wing in helped me enormously in bettering my English skills. It didn’t help me to matriculate, however it did get me later to finish a degree in Economics.

My first wife, Pamela Heath, and I are proud parents of two fully functioning sons. We are also much looking forward to the arrival of our first grandchild.

I am now happily retired after many years working as a project manager in IT. Now I spend my time travelling to various parts of the world. My wife and I are about to take off for Europe to do two bikes rides. One is from the Baltic Sea to Berlin and the other from Budapest to Vienna, along the Danube.
